Zaytouna Mediterranean Grill - Freehold

This was our first time ordering takeout from this restaurant, and we noticed they had seating both indoors and outdoors. Everything we ordered was delicious. We enjoyed a variety of dishes and desserts, including spinach pie, spinach and cheese pie, pistachio rolls, and of course, baklava!

Delicious! Everything I've had here is always fresh. There are plenty of options to choose from. The staff is very helpful, especially if you're not familiar with Mediterranean cuisine. They even let me try pickled turnips, and now I'm hooked! If you haven't dined here yet, what are you waiting for?!

We ordered catering from this restaurant for a party of 30 people last weekend, and everything was fantastic. The food was fresh, and I highly recommend the lamb shawarma with the accompanying sauce on the side. The portions were generous and could easily feed more than 30 people. The service was excellent as well.

The falafels here are amazing—think of it as a Mediterranean twist on Bubbakoos, but with incredibly fresh ingredients and a taste that far surpasses it. The pita chips are perfectly cooked, and the seasonings are excellent. I have no regrets at all about choosing this spot for lunch. It costs around $10 per person, drink included, but the portions are quite generous, so don’t be fooled. It's definitely worth it!

My husband, son, and I dined here today, and I have to say, the food and service were exceptional. The whole place is spotless! I enjoyed a perfectly cooked and seasoned lamb shawarma served over white rice, accompanied by cucumber yogurt sauce, tahini, and onion sumac. We also shared fresh tabbouleh and stuffed grape leaves, which were delightful. My husband really loved his chicken shawarma with tahini, black olives, and feta. As for our son, he devoured his lamb shawarma topped with spicy harissa tomato sauce and onion sumac. And I can't forget to mention the baklava—it was delicious! We're already looking forward to our next meal and plan to become regulars at Zaytouna.
