Jameson Tavern - Freeport

I absolutely loved the atmosphere, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. We ordered the baked lobster and the baked seafood medley, and both dishes were delicious. The lobster was perfectly cooked, and the scallops were outstanding. However, I'm not sure I'd order the baked lobster again, as the filling somewhat overshadowed the exceptional quality of the lobster itself. It was fantastic, but I'm glad I tried it! The side potatoes were great, but the broccoli was overcooked. I also felt that the portion size for the Baked Seafood Medley was a bit on the smaller side.

Had a good lunch at Jameson Tavern. We set ourselves fast. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was good. I had the crab melt and we shared a lobster cocktail. Although none of us ordered it, we loved that they had a “Lazy lobster” on the menu, where they take all the meat out for you!

Wonderful seafood! We had the scallops appetizer, which was delicious very delicate and perfectly cooked. (Remember the blank plate! A lot of actually, like you a lot for an appetizer. Then the hotplate and the sandwich were both perfect. tender, fresh and very tasty. Even the Koleslaw was very fresh and crisp. We sat outside on such a beautiful day. Very recommended

Crab Dip- loved the pieces of crabs it was amazing The Maine Trifecta- wished it was warm, shrimp was a little chewinger than liked, but over all well and fill. Crab Melt- great taste and well paired with the Coleslaw! Drinks were moderate.

Overall, it was fantastic, and I'm glad I gave it a try! The side of potatoes was great, but I found the broccoli to be overcooked. Also, the portion size of the baked seafood medley was a little on the small side!
