Raimo's Pizza - Freeport

If you're on Long Island, Raimo is the Italian restaurant of choice. The overall experience was just okay. You place your order, pay, and then wait. While the man who took my order was friendly, his focus wasn't on the customer experience. The pizza was quite good with the right amount of cheese, no complaints there. The garlic knots were a bit overcooked and the zeppoles, while tasty, had too much dough and not enough powdered sugar. The location is spacious, the food is decent, and the service is average.

My family and I stopped by and we really enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning.

The pizza at this restaurant is delicious, which is why I order it daily. However, last Friday I experienced a long wait of an hour for my pizzas and garlic knots because my order was not prepared on time. Unfortunately, no apology or compensation was offered for the mistake, which left me feeling disappointed.

I'm from Connecticut, I'd know much here but every time that we come we get a pizza in this place,my kids really love it

Absolutely love this place! Certainly miss the Italian Icees. Spinach calzone states just like a remember it. Cheese pizza was awesome. Chicken park was delightful!
