Im not sure if it's purely adult oriented, but our 6 and 7 year olds had so much fun. There were quite a few other kids there all enjoying the show. The food was really good. Maybe because my expectations weren't that high, but the portions were good and everything we had was delicious. No complaints on the food. The only real thing I could complain about was the expense. It was a bit pricey, but I totally understand why.Overall, IMHO, I'd give the experience an A-, B+. Im no expert critic, but the fact that my daughter is still upstairs signing about the best day ever and my son is running around with a wand yelling expelliarmus, i have to say it was a welcome and enjoyable experience ?
It was cute. Staff was very pleasant. The show was interactive with the guest. Food was good. Drinks really aren't worth the price. Mocktail tasted like watered down coolaid and drinks were just a glass of wine. Other than the drinks...was a nice experience.
Do not use The Perfect Spell restaurant. They took my money last year, but refused to reschedule or refund when I had to cancel due to the Covid pandemic. Despite making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, they still did not honor their promise to reschedule or refund. Numerous attempts to contact them have been ignored, and their phone number has been disconnected. I will be filing another BBB claim to get my money back. Avoid this scam of a business at all costs.
I recently visited a charming and cozy dinner theater with a cute and intimate atmosphere. The main actor impressed with their skills and humor, while the supporting cast, although inexperienced, were entertaining. The decorations had a slight Harry Potter influence, showing the effort put into creating a recognizable wizarding world. However, I deducted a star as the food was mediocre and overpriced for simple dishes like fried rice and microwaved risotto and Mac and cheese. Despite this, it was a unique and enjoyable experience, offering a welcome departure from typical chain restaurants.
I won 4 seats for this and my fiance and her friends were super excited to go. The seats they gave us in the corner were terrible and the view for half of my party was obstructed to the point where I couldn't see anything, and the person sitting to my left could see at least half of what was going on. They just threw in references to various magical people such as Thachery Binx, the Sanderson Sisters, and Maleficent with some Harry Potter references tossed in. The host was decent and kept us engaged, but ultimately you are just there to watch people dance to music which was not what I was expecting. The food was also terrible, my fiance and I got the mac and cheese and it didn't have any cheese on it, it was quite dry and the steak tips were nothing to write home about either, not to mention that we didn't get our food until the show was almost over, so we watched the couple next to us not only receive their food before us, but they also had eaten desert, and paid for their food before we even finished ours despite the fact that our orders were taken seconds apart. If you want to pay for terrible over-priced food and watch people dance to music then this is the place for you.
