Tropix On The Bayou - Freeport

Wait staff was very uninformed about basic things like wine list, type of vegetables in the roasted medley, what was rye. They were nice but clueless. One of the mixed drinks did have an insect mixed in- wine I tasted was awfu- food was not well seasoned and finally, table of 4 is considered a large party and the gratuity was added automatically to the bill. This meal was waayyy overpriced for the level of service, quality of food and overall experience. Very bad experience.

Food is good drinks are cold your by the water it’s all good.

Love coming here! Lisa is the best bartender. She makes great suggestions. I have been here plenty of times. Cheeseburgers are great. Same with Cajun chicken wrap. Everytime I come I am not disappointed. My son loves Lisa and coming here to visit her too!

I've been here at least 5 times and can't believe I've never yelped this place. I thought I did. I love it here. The ambience is great! There's seating inside and out. You can boat here or park On The mile. Lisa is the best bartender. She's right on spot. She's taken our order a couple of times as well. She's made great suggestions. I've had the burgers, tacos, quesadillas, wraps, you just can't go wrong. I love this place and recommend it.

Great spot for food and drinks at any given time of the day. Hostess, bartenders, waitresses all a pleasure to deal with. Definitely my favorite spot on the mile.
