Had traditional galettes for a lunch stop which were not the best I’ve tried across Britanny. The interior is full of memorabilia and keepsakes making an interesting decor. Service was not particularly friendly throughout and the two (presumably owners) were particularly miserable and coughed continuously (including when clearing plates) oblivious of how uncomfortable that can make diners. Great location for a beach visit. Shame about the welcome and service.
Proprietor made it clear that we shouldn’t have sat down at empty table. All staff constantly smoking. Service was sullen and begrudging. Specials expensive for what they turned out to be. One of our burgers was raw. Desserts disappointing. No wine on drinks menu. If you’re looking for a smoky pub then you might really like this place.
We polled in because our chosen restaurant was full and everywhere else seemed closed on a Sunday evening unsurprisingly. But what a treat we had. Huge prawns on a bed of flavourful risotto with accompanying salad. Followed by delicious apple tart with ice cream. No one spoke much English but fortunately I had enough to get by. Quirky place with all sorts of decorative things around the room. Just so very French!
Loved this place! Very friendly staff. Patient with my limited French and encouraging of my son's much better French. The food was just great particularly the burgers. The Breizh burger was very nice. The family recommend the Duck burger Le Biggie. The Josy special was fantastic, I've never had scallops before and never thought my first taste would be as a burger!!! Highly recommend this place
Very good house and the bosses are very nice !!!! Good products, a good table that you must absolutely go. O:
