Restaurant Rose - Freiburg

Authentic Food. Super tasty. Very quick. The Location does not look very inviting but it's totally worth to have Diner at the rose!

I was a bit concerned about the reviews about this place, most seemed to be negative. Could not be more wrong. Yes it is a bit eccentric, some confusion about ordering in any language including German! But apart form the the food is superb. Great choice if you are vegetarian. Everything was fresh including the whole green peppers which explode in your mouth.The lunch menu gives you the main dish with rice and a soft drink for Euro6.5. The restaurant is frequented mainly by students but is never rowdy- you are in Freiburg after all!

Please do not visit this restaurant, the service is super horrible, the tables are grimy, the food is terrible. Perhaps the most grubby eating joint I have been to in my whole life.

The place was once a small, cheaper favourite place with excellent fresh food. then it is more and more murky. unfriendly chefin, the space inside and outside increasingly dirty and broken. in the meantime it has been closed due to hygienic mängel.

Eat them too much with fried fat. the old lady on the phone was more friendly and she understood it more clearly!
