Le Carre Provencal - Fréjus

We just arrived. no euro, no warning where we were, tired and hungry. somehow we landed in frejus. the center of the village cleared up from the market and there was a friendly waiter who stayed in his small fresco restaurant. He said we should eat and pay later. we had salat nikoise, a edited version of the big salats, but fresh and perfect and then we had the best pizza we had in years. his friendliness reminded us of how we were in love with southern France years ago. we will bring our friends back soon.

It's good to be welcomed like that! simple but good kitchen and served with a smile, nice little atmosphere.
