I was in use first and ordered quickly. The fountain was good. I sat and waited 10 minutes. During this time, 7 customers had arranged and ordered. I guess I beat the rush. I have the food for takeout. So, the Lau-Lau? Pig meat with tea leaves and a banana leaf around the...was delicious! Serving size was good, rice and macaroni salad, plus a spam musubi a la carte. Everything was worth coming back for seconds. And I'll take pictures too.
Unfortunately, the staff appeared to be more focused on chatting and goofing off behind the counter. This lack of dedication seemed to carry over to the food preparation as well. It really took away from my experience here. But hey, there's always room for improvement, right?
I ordered for someone else, and when I told the cashier, he seemed confused and just walked away. I stood there, assuming my order was being remade. They didn't speak English and didn't apologize for the mistake at all. I would give them zero stars.
My wife and I ordered the fried chicken dish to share. It featured boneless fried chicken strips served alongside a generous portion of white rice and macaroni salad. It also included a delicious sauce on the side that we really enjoyed.
Love the food. But if you going to charge me a dollar more for two servings of macaroni salad please say it upfront instead of letting me find out when I check my receipt. I will gladly pay it because its goes with the meal but to not say anything up front upsets me. Smiles
