Ohlone Deli Catering - Fremont

This charming Mom and Pop deli offers a wonderful atmosphere and friendly service that truly makes it a delightful destination. Conveniently located right across from Ohlone College, I highly recommend trying the beef gyro. Their freezes are equally enjoyable, with options for caramel, vanilla, or hazelnut syrup available upon request. I do wish they were open on Sundays for a leisurely day of dining, but if you can visit during the week or on Saturdays before closing, you're sure to have a great experience. Just a heads-up: there’s no public restroom, so keep that in mind if you're planning to stop by to eat and chat for a while.

This restaurant serves the best fries in all of Fremont, and likely in the entire Bay Area. Although I've had my order mixed up a few times, the atmosphere is never crowded, and the rest of the menu is quite good.

The food is excellent! The chef puts in a lot of effort to ensure the dishes are visually appealing. The milkshakes are fantastic, and the service is top-notch. Overall, it's a really cool place to dine.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a pastrami and ham Witt everything. The bread was soggy and old . The ham and pastrami was rank! Totally disgusted with this deli! I will never return !!!

Heard this deli made good pastrami sandwiches, tried it out, as well as fish chips with my husband! We both loved the chips which were tasty and very crisp. That’s how a fresh crinkle chip should be! Fish crisp and fresh! Wish pastrami was home made, but is was fresh as well. The gentleman from the Mediterranean knows his way around a deli. Say what, baklava, too? All right! Baklava heaven now!
