Contribuisci feedbackTerrible experience with the staff. We walked in, and the guy at the front finally looked up and told us to sit anywhere. After we settled down, it took a long time for anyone to bring us menus or water. Eventually, our order was taken, but after the food was delivered, we never saw our waiter again. We even had to get up to find someone to help us settle the bill, as we could have easily walked out without paying. When someone finally approached us, they asked if we needed menus. I replied, “No, we already ate, and our waiter never came back.” There were no drink refills or inquiries about our needs. The ribs were decent, but the brisket was dry, and the macaroni and cheese was unappetizing—I couldn’t even finish it. The BBQ sauce containers on the table were sticky, and the table itself hadn’t been cleaned. I would not recommend this place! It’s a shame because the service is really damaging their business!
The lightly smoked brisket was decent, but it could have used more seasoning. It seemed like it was smoked for about 1.5 hours at 315°F before reaching a temperature of 180°F. Overall, the total cook time appeared to be between 8 to 10 hours. Unfortunately, the collagen didn’t break down properly, as it was likely pulled off the heat at around 200°F instead of the desired 204°F. The staff seemed inexperienced, and while this isn't competition-level quality, brisket is typically a reliable choice.
This place is terrible. The meat is poor quality, the sides lack flavor, and I even think the water was bad. If you really dislike barbecue and want to ensure someone never wants to eat it again, bring them here! They'll definitely avoid barbecue for the rest of their lives.
Cheapest drinks in town and live music. Casual and relaxed atmosphere.
I ordered the brisket. It was not melt in the mouth at all. Maybe it 's better in the morning when it 's freshly out of the smoker. I went at around 4 pm. As someone who has eaten a lot of BBQ in Texas , this is nowhere close. I had ordered 1/2 and 1/2 fatty and lean brisket.
