Contribuisci feedbackI like Courtepaille - yes they are a chain, but one of the better ones in my opinion. The food is grilled over flame in a large pit in the restaurant. Essentially steaks, but sauasages, duck breasts or legs, and fish en papillotte all grilled over the flames. Upon being seated a "complimentary" green salad is served to everyone - a nice touch. Visited on a Sunday lunch time - very full and staff were busy, but service level was fine, no complaints. Ordered the duck breast - with a baked potato. Delicious, superbly cooked. Happy to return.
We came here a bit late in the evening, a group of hungry bikers. But no problem, soon we got an excellent service, and the Chef started the grill and we got some very nice stakes... and to a resonable price
Arrived Sunday 7pm so few customers at that time. Our order was taken and acknowledged nicely in a mixture of French And English. The sharing platter was good and the steaks were cooked " bien cuit" to our liking - equivalent to medium in English terms. Later local families arrived in numbers which allowed the ambience to improve with chatter.
