Contribuisci feedbackThis was me and my family’s first time at Butterfish. A lot of my friends had recommended it so we decided to try it out. When I came in, it was very busy, which I took as a good sign, but while we were standing in line, I had a hard time reading the bottom of the menu because there were things blocking it. We decided to build our own bowls and after we had chosen our sauce I saw the employee helping us add something into all of our proteins without asking. I asked them what that was and they said it was lemon juice. I was very upset that they didn’t ask before adding that in because my son is severely allergic to lemon. The employee apologized and said they are required to add it in but gladly offered to remake my sons bowl. I really felt bad that they had to remake the bowl because I hate wasting food, but it wouldn’t have happened if they had asked in the first place. Other than that, we didn’t have any other problems with our bowls and they turned out pretty good. While we were standing in line waiting to be checked out, I overheard an employee in a gray shirt using profane language while conversing with another employee. I generally don’t really have a problem with this kind of language, however, I strongly feel this is inappropriate in a work environment where customers (and kids) can easily over hear. While I was checking out, I decided to try one of their specialty drinks. I got one of their lemonades. To my disappointment, they had filled up my cup entirely with ice before adding the drink. For $3.25 this feels like a rip off since I only got about half a cup of the actual drink. The drink itself was okay, it was very sweet. Might come back again since the food was pretty good, but these little things were a downer on our first experience here.
Never disappointed and always hits the spot. Friendly staff and delicious food. The only difficulty is deciding from so many great options and combinations. Great mix of health and taste. Any time I don 't pack lunch to work, this is my go-to.Food: 5/5
I go to Butterfish all the time as it’s my most go-to food off the top of my head. Love it. The bowls do a vary a tad depending on who makes them in my opinion with what they believe is a scoop. I get the same thing every time, regular with sushi rice, tuna, shrimp, spicy crab in sriracha ponzu, 2 jalapeño scoops 2 seaweed salad and topped with spicy mayo and tempura crumbles. Today my bf mobile ordered it around 2:20 and let me tell you whoever made that bowl put their entire life into it. It was beautiful and full and tasted amazing. 10/10 wanted to say thank you if you made my bowl 6/29 around 2ish pm. Slapped. That’s all
Some of our favorite poke bowls at this place. Unique ingredients make for different flavors. Good portions and good service. I wish we had one closer to home!Food: 5/5
We got here during the lunch rush, but it was still fast, and the staff were efficient and courteous. They have tons of topping options and protein options. There's chicken for the non-fish eaters plus full vegetarian options. Friendly to kids as well. Also, if you're in the mood for something warm, they have some warm dishes. All in all, super delicious and fresh.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free sauce options
