Di Cicco's Italian - Fresno

6/7/24 Getting lunch! I called and ordered a vegetarian calzone with chicken added, baked (appreciate getting the option! . Don't want greasy fried. The worker was very kind and told me it would be ready in 25 minutes. I went in to pick it up shortly later. Short wait. They were busy. Greeted by nice worker. Order was ready. I paid for it and he wished me a good day!! Very nice restaurant! Calm low key. Clean, safe practiced. Lunchtime! Calzone split. My half was REALLY fresh DELICIOUS!! Great side pasta sauce to dip it in too!! Mother felt the same! Great service Great calzone lunch!! Highly recommended!!

Man i just don't know what has happened to their pizza. We haven't ordered in a while cuz the last two times pizza was delivered it wasn't very good. Sloppy made and luke warm at best when arrived and we live less than a half mile from restaurant. We tried again today and NO different. Pizza was under cooked and uneven on bottom causing some doughy raw spots. Cheese thick in some areas n didn't even reach edge like normal. And it was luke warm n exposed sauce on edge was literally cold so had to heat pieces in oven. So disappointing because this used to be our go to for 20+ yrs. It seems every once in a while the pizzas are just off for awhile maybe new cooks that dont know the DiCiccos standard ‍ I may try once more but pick it up and give specific instructions on how we prefer the cook, basically like they used to do when they're good thin, cooked golden brown crust with cheese to the edges, and hot when delivered. Any suggestions on your favorite pizza places? We're looking for new choices.

Let's start with the good. The house dressing is very tasty. The bread is good as well. And they give you a lot of it. It would actually make great French toast for the next morning. Now for the bad. Literally, everything else we ordered. The scarface and Ariannas pasta were both bland. The scarface was slightly less bland because of the Alfredo sauce. But Arianna pasta with the red sauce was unbelievably bland. The side of Alfredo was as thin as broth and tasted like a white chicken stock. The side salads were basic as well. All in all, it was a bad experience. I'd say it was forgettable but at $79, it's a mistake I'll remember for some time.

Hands down the best Diciccos in the system. Best amenities. Friendly service incredible food. Highly recommend the Fried Ravioli, the sauce is also next level. Have never had a bad item here. Love the dinner salad with salami and cheese, wet and dry dressing (Italian and crumbled blue) I also add a side of ranch. Can't go wrong with their pizza and lasagna. Beef ravioli is always a must for me as well.

Delicious, consistent food and service! Can't go wrong with dining in or takeout. We love coming here whenever we are craving Italian food that the whole family will enjoy.
