Don Pepe Taqueria - Fresno

I arrived at this restaurant around 11 am to grab a burrito. It was very crowded! The line never seemed to go down. The chili verde burrito was stuffed with pieces of pork, beans, sliced avocado, rice, and cheese. It was a huge burrito! The prices were affordable at $9 for a burrito and $2.50 for a large soda. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back. Next time, I plan on trying the shrimp or carne asada burrito, as well as the octopus taco.

I visited Fresno for the first time and found this restaurant to be very popular! Although it is a smaller establishment, the service was fast and they always made sure to restock condiments like lemon, salsa, etc. There was plenty of parking space and it was easy to find a table with the option to dine outside. If you choose to dine in, the food will be brought to you. Despite my initial hesitation due to my limited language skills, the cashiers were very helpful. The style of food was different from Mexican restaurants in the Bay Area, with unique options like bean tacos.

I have been going to Don Pepe's Taqueria since I was a child, and after over 20 years, I can say that the quality and freshness of the food have remained consistent. Whether you are craving a torta, burrito, shrimp cocktail, tacos, or anything else from their wide menu, you can always expect a delicious experience. Despite its small size, the restaurant has a charming atmosphere. The large and skilled staff efficiently handle tasks like food preparation, cleaning, and customer service. Their dedication to cleanliness and service reflects the high quality of their food. For those who have not yet tried Don Pepe's Taqueria, I highly recommend paying them a visit.

A busy place at lunch, lighting fast service, good tasting food and of course the salsa bar with veges and pico. A few things, I had them for dinner through door dash and they included no salsa or veges with my order and the quesadilla was beyond greasy. 2 days later I went in for lunch and wow can they move some food in a little space in a short amount of time. Table space was at a premium but they turned quick. A great tasty burrito.

Yo what happend don pepe???!?! Ur taco with beans at one time was AMAZING!!! I ordered today and the carnitas were dry the beans were tasteless...do better. Usauul I order the super burrito ..the last tike I ordered that I wasn't impressed either...I would tell people the food at don pepe is good...NOT ANYMORE...WHAY HAPPENED?
