The staff was friendly, and we were promptly seated and served. We ordered a Smash Burger and their Best Damn Cheeseburger. The meat tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and had crispy ends that give the smash burger its unique appeal. The melted cheese added a delicious touch. The fries were hot, crispy, and perfectly salted. Their burgers come with a side of ketchup and Slater sauce which is a blend of ketchup and bacon. Interesting taste. Towards the end, we shared a root beer float, which was decent but nothing extraordinary. What sets Slaters 50/50 apart from places like Red Robin and other burger restaurants is the noticeably fresher taste of the meat at an affordable price. Moreover, they offer a variety of burgers without compromising on quality. If you're not into burgers, they have pasta options and a selection of chicken dishes on their menu. Considering the other restaurants nearby, you can expect great food at an affordable price. Would we return to this location? Most likely, yes.
I must say Allison held it down. 11 tables the only waiter. She had excellent customer service and alrhough had so many tables we never felt like we waited very long. The only other server was stuck catering only to a birthday party so Allison was left to the rest of the tables. Food was ok the burger patty was not very tasty. They were out of 3 of the items we ordered. I feel the quality of the hamburger has gone down. If it wasn't for her great customer service I would have left. From the start.
Waited 5 minutes to even be acknowledged upon entering. Servers were standing around talking to each other. Overall horrible first
Well not a great experience. They were slow when we got there and majority of people were at the bar. But it took forever for the food to come out and our waitress kept disappearing. The manager was bust chatting with staff and never went around to ask how anyone was doing. We order chips and Dips for starters. The chips were tasteless and stale. The salsa was sweet and gross. The cheese dip is from a can.The kids food. Sliders were plain, no flavor, my son didn 't finish and he loves Hamburgers. My other son got chicken stripes. One bite and he said they tasted weird. We tried them and they were the most tasteless chicken stripes I 've ever had. No salt, no pepper, nothing. No one ate them. My burger was good but all the fries were double cooked and cold. I had wanted to get a shake for the kids but after all that and how long it took we went and got Baskin-Robbins in the mall.We won 't be returning.
Came with a large group at 8pm. It was nearly empty. The food didn't come out until 930. I ordered the Fresno farm house burger while the rest ordered the best damn cheeseburger (3) and a pasta plate. Everyone ordered their meats different doneness and when they came out the server just gave them to whoever. The fries where over done and the meats were very dry. Being my first time and my last. Not worth the $101. Lesson learned. Five guys right down the way would have been better.
