Very nice hotel, nicely furnished rooms, located directly on the Main. Above-average friendly and ambitious staff, we felt very comfortable! Only the breakfast was a little cheeky and partly no longer quite fresh. Nevertheless a recommended stay! Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was with my friend at the Candle Light Dinner Deluxe in the Golden Fass (May Days voucher). So Candle Light, I'm different to imagine, for example, with a candlestick, white tablecloth, floral cutlery and possibly rose petals. Not a patterned tablecloth, bacon mat by Ikea as a plate coaster, 3 small wind lights, a rose. Cutlery was uncovered from the table edge. Operation told us there would be a surprise menu and there would be 3 courses! We were asked what we don't like or whether we were allergic to something! That was fine. Tip to light the candles: either use long matches or light them with a long lighter. As an aperitif there was a glass of champagne that no longer was so tingling! After an hour came the soup Lauwarm, tastefully went so....Teller was cold. After that, a salad did not come straight with love. Main dish again cold, food: blue herb and two meat slices of different thickness, just as sweetly packed on the plate. Croquettes in a cold soup plate (small bowl would have been more beautiful). And it's all lukewarm again! Finally the dessert came: 3 small pieces of mandarins (or oranges) were not chewing, as the skin was very dry. Vanilla pudding was caramelized, was OK but there was something missing! The only thing that was really delicious was the yoghurteis! No deluxe food! Simple home cooking! Then we were sitting between two tables, and not a little bit of a seperate, so one has been sounded from both sides. The neighboring table had ordered an appetizer that was forgotten or which was not passed on to the kitchen. The guest room was filled with the whole food odour through the kitchen, so everything: clothes, hair smelled after food! Apparently the ventilation of the kitchen doesn't go right, that's not likely. I'm really sorry, but I've already introduced myself to the Candle Light Dinner Deluxe! Because it should be something special! For a normal meal, it's OK, but for a romantic candle-light dinner unfortunately not!

Not recommended economically furnished (not like on the pictures) Eating extremely modest we had a voucher by Engelbert Strauss (catastrophe please don't buy vouchers! We had at the Wellness Coupon on the first day Kasseler with Sauerkraut and the next day 6 Nuremberg sausages with sauerkraut as a surprise s menu!!!! Definitely not recommended
