Zur Altstadt - Freudenberg

This quaint little village with it's narrow cobbled streets is a delight to wander. You can pick up a tourist map with a walking tour guide and some information on the history of the village in several languages (including English) from the tourist information centre. There are several lovely places to eat if you want to take a break. You can walk the whole village in half hour at a leisurely pace.

Stayed one night, pleasant hotel, a simple but ok room Note no iron in it the main point to be aware of is the reception desk closes at about 10pm and doesn’t open again until 8 am. If you forget toothpaste then that could be an issue. There is a large supermarket 400m away, I ate in and the food menu selection was very good. Given 4* mainly on value for money and I would be very happy to stay again I’d just sort the iron out on arrival.

The food and food options at this hotel restaurant are super. I’d recommend it to anyone. Try the Hawaiian Snitzel for dinner and the sesame seed oil and turkey salad for lunch.

Wir waren zu viert im Restaurant Zur Altstadt und haben den Abend sehr genossen! Das Essen war von den Vorspeise über den Hauptgang bis zum Dessert hervorragend! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir waren hier zum Geschäftsessen an einem sonnigen Abend und konnten draußen sitzen.Die Bedienung ist sehr net, spaßig und zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat unserer Gruppe sehr gut geschmeckt. die Portionen sind reichlich, besonders die Steaks.
