Cafe Pause - Freudenstadt

I really liked this little cake/pastry/coffee shop in the heart of Freudenstadt. We came here for coffee, tea, and a little spaghetti ice cream. The joy of spaghetti ice cream is that it does indeed look like a bowl of Italian spaghetti but is really a small pile of whipped cream that is covered in ice cream that has been extruded to look like spaghetti. It is served with finely shredded almonds that looks like parmesan cheese with strawberry syrup that looks like tomato sauce. Served with a circular crunchy biscuit. This was my first spaghetti ice and it was delicious! Our server was so kind and friendly. Afterwards, this is a great place to shop for sweet souvenirs of chocolate and sugar. Thanks, Cafe Pause!

There are several vegan dishes on the normal menu and the daily menu. If you want cake or chocolate, you can be surprised by the great vegan sort! and it is also delicious! updated by the previous review on 2022-05-19
