El Greco - Friedberg

Wow what a surprise when we found this wonderful Greek Restaurant, we didn't think we would find such an amazing & friendly one at the last minute. We were welcomed by VERY friendly staff & sat in the garden which was lovely. Amazing atmosphere & wonderful meal, we both had Greek salads, absolutely delicious if you are near you must visit.

We have eaten here multiple times while visiting Friedberg/Augsburg. The food is excellent and the people very helpful and fun. It is a bit tucked back from the Friedberg city center but not all that difficult to find with GPS or help, and an easy walk from hotels in or near the city center. The prices are very reasonable and the amount of food - especially meat - is huge. Seating inside the restaurant is good and outside seating very good in decent weather. We look forward to eating here during our next visit to the area.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, and it was a very good idea to have dinner here. We were traveling by car with our two grandchildren (7 resp. 10 years old) from Belgium to Austria, and stayed one night in Friedberg on our way to Austria, and a second time a week later on our way back home. This is not a big luxury restaurant, but the food and the atmosphere was splendid. Our grandchildren agreed immediately to go there a second time on our way back home. If you want excellent genuine Greek food in Friedberg, this is the place to be.

The flesh had the right taste. unfortunately, rice and kartoffel didn't taste much. at the same time it was so much meat that they did not need the rice!

Everyone can make a mistake. our meals were forgotten. After I had lifted this, I was assured by the locals that this was not the usual level of the service. the personal bent back to make changes and produced a first-class meal. there is an extensive menu that ensures every taste. the food was excellently presented and was delicious. the apple cake was particularly beautiful. we felt really sorry for the waiter who had forgotten our meal he was destroyed. beautiful outdoor seating on a covered terrace. did we have our experience? No, we returned two nights later and had another super eating and it's all good. they would not have thought if they returned in the opposite direction.
