Premier Inn Frome

Our particular room was not up to the standard we usually receive when visiting Premier Inns. Black mould around the window frames, a toilet seat that was too small for the base, a floor that creaks at every step and not fully serviced. The staff are friendly helpful. The majority of Premier Inns in which we have stayed, have been excellent I'm sure this is an isolated hiccup! Rooms: 3

Literally the worst night I have ever spent in a hotel They warned us up front they didn't have aircon, OK. But they said a fan would be provided and the windows opened. This is a lie. The windows open 1-2 inches maximum, so the fan is useless and when I left at 5:15am (missing the breakfast I had paid for), the room was still an unbearable 29c inside even though it had rained and was a pleasant 18c outside. A miserable, miserable experience. I was coming down with something and have been suffering from a serious lung infection since. Not their fault but it sure as he'll didn't help!
