Main courses (salad and venison) were great too. The menu offers quite innovative and suprising variants (e.g. vanilla flavored mashed potatoes with the venison - yummie!)We found the portions to be plenty and the prices moderate. The atmosphere was nice and stylish.Highly recommended.
If you are in town, this is the place to go - not only for yummy food (Burger!!) but also for very nice drinks: The gin selection actually is one of the best in the area. The staff is with you in no time and of course the location is unrivaled being directly at the river "Amper" with a lovely terrace.
Nice location with a beautiful terrace on the river (if you get a place... we had to stay inside), modern appearance, but... they could be far better. The steak we had was just average, not worth the expensive price, the staff was not particularly friendly, not even for Bavarian standards. When we wanted to pay they said they normally accept credit cards from 100 Eur. We had "only" reached 52, so we had to pay cash! And the coffee was terrible. Unacceptable for a restaurant that pretends to be above average.
Next to the Amper river in the midst of the old medieval town of Fürstenfeldbruck lies one of the most innovative restaurants in the Munich suburbs. 'Vierwasser' boasts a welcome alternative to the otherwise traditional restaurants in the area. The menu draws from inspiration ranging from the Far East to the classic American cheeseburger. A bit too pricey.
Pretty good place to eat. Nice atmosphere, good food and beer! Very good service considering we were a group of around 20 people. Would go again.
