MARCO POLO Ristorante & Trattoria

Located in the heart of Fuerstenwalde, Marco Polo is an Italian restaurant with pizza and pasta, but also a good selection of decent German dishes. The prices are reasonable and the food is very tasty. Service was excellent. Our waiter spoke perfectly English and looked after us well. Can recommend thoroughly.

Unlike some of the other reviews about this restaurant, I must say our experience was very good. We chose Marco Polo because we couldn't see any other restaurants near our hotel (the Kaiserhoff) so that this was both convenient and as it darnspired... a very good dinner. We were supervised by the manager/owner himself. My steak was cooked for perfection and he served us a free fleet at the end of the meal. Would eat there again.

We chose Marco Polo as we couldn't see any other restaurants close to our hotel (the Kaiserhoff) so this was both convenient and, as it transpired,...a very good dinner. We were looked after by the manager/ owner himself. My steak was cooked to perfection and he served us a complimentary liquor at the end of the meal. Would certainly eat there again.

The marco polo has been moved some time ago into a very nicely located local in the middle of forstenwalde. the bad reviews cannot be traced, it was perfect. very tasty eating, appetizers, very pleasant ambiente, outdoor seating, all tiptop.
