Great vibes and the staff was super friendly. They were nice enough to go through their famous local cuisine. The live squid was absolutely delicious. You can try it yourself, with salt and soy sauce. In the end you have an option to grill or tempura the Squid. The restaurant itself had a unique atmosphere. Many interesting pictures on the walls and very funny statue outside.

Must visit restaurant for a unique and delicious meal! This place is like a meal and a show. While it may be a little strange to see that your food is fished directly before you eat it, it was so fresh and tasty and you will want to leave to order more squid!

That is one of the most famous restaurants in Fukuoka. If you visit Fukuoka, you need to visit there seriously. there are so many similar restaurants around Squid cooking that are not confused. And the best time to visit is during lunchtime that you can have lunch menu at a reasonable price. It is a good place to feel traditional atmosphere and to eat comfortably.

Although the interior is quite old, the pool in the middle of the seats is quite interesting. We ordered fresh squid that is a must in this shop. It is as fresh as possible. But with the poor thing that is still moving as you eat it is a rather difficult situation to bear... The tentacles can be grilled or fried in Tempura. They gave 2 pieces of sweet potato tempura as a compliment with the fried tentacles that taste like the sky! The fresh sashimi we ordered are good, but not like this pure sashimi and sushi shop. The deep fugu is very good! Softly juicy and yet crispy because of the dough. Service us good and friendly. Overall, remember another experience.

Fresh squid and fresh mackerel are provided and it is rare that you have access to those. I had fully enjoyed those delicate taste and atmosphere.
