We'll be happy to go back.
On the journey through fulda we were looking for a cheap and cozy restoration to satisfy our hunger and our thirst. we saw the restoration of rocks and returned there. rustic, but in the sense of old and already a little came into the years. the ordered drinks were brought in time, after ordering the diner from the lunch card it took some time. the lunches are rather smaller portions, deviations or change requests were not possible. quantity as well as quality in order, but the expectations of a rustic-brown restaurant were not fulfilled. a payment with EC card is possible.
I love eating with relatives and friends. They also have separate halls to enjoy large group events. It is just a street from the old city wall around the city castle park. In addition to a very good selection of beer, they also have an extensive selection of authentic German meals.
Friendly and efficient service. Good quality and large portions. Doggy bags available, no problem. Appropriate prices. Many enjoyed the rascals and the angus steak, and a few regular pils beers. Only over 40 euros, but the steak was half that. Would definitely...repeat, and maybe try the amazing looking and high calories xxl haxe.
When we arrived tired and hungry after the long hike from the railway station to the Ibis Fulda City Hotel, we asked if there was somewhere nearby to eat. We were led to this nearby Braupub, and it turned out that it was a...maybe happy experience. Although the place bounced, we were welcomed and served immediately. One of the dishes on the menu was pork swing, price 13.80 euros. When we asked what it was, the server made a chopping movement on her shoulder. That seemed promising, so we ordered it. It turned out to be a giant punk on the bone, accompanied by vegetables and potato pancakes. The food was delicious, and so was the home brewed beer, price at a very reasonable 2.60 per 40cl serving. It was the last night of our holiday in Germany, and we had not asked for a better way to spend it.
