We've been there half an hour and we're sitting. serviced water, and 30 minutes later, nothing. our waiter has forgotten us, so we are on and away. No one noticed it. it was Valentine's Day and the place was not crowded. I am tired of booking another restaurant, but open table app would not leave me unless bourbon street reservation was canceled. the only way was to call the restaurant, but they did not answer their phone. I've learned something new that was annoying. at 8:45 a.m. to find another restaurant, I called bourbon street again to free them to cancel the reservation and tell the gal what happened, and all that I got was a sorry. I could not book open table so I was able to book with google when we finally found a real place in brea. we had dinner. I will never get back to the bourbon street ever! open table must fix this problem with her app!
We had a reservation, but we were seated near the back door. The jambalaya had some pieces of cracked seafood, but it was flavorful. The rest of the food was decent, though the presentation could have been better.
Bourbon Street reminds me of a nearby restaurant with its drink offerings—comfortable, yet nothing out of the ordinary. The jambalaya was spicy, but not overwhelming. The blackened sole came with a deliciously sweet side that my wife really enjoyed. Although we don’t visit Bourbon Street often, we always return because it has a cozy atmosphere and serves great food.
The food and waiter were great. I had fish and chips and the fish was perfect and moist- couldn’t eat it all. The band was a three piece and were good, especially the singer/guitar and the harmonica player!
