Kayla's Cake Fullerton

This was my first time coming here. It was a Yelp event so I got the free egg tart and had to get some French macarons in the store. The macarons were smooth, crunchy, and soft on the inside and nice filling. They also have pastries and cakes in the store as well. The service was fast employee is nice and friendly. The store is very clean, nice, and spacious.

This place is a sweet little spot for macaron enthusiasts. The flavors are on point, and you can tell they put some love into making them. What I like is not just the taste but how cute they look like tiny, delicious pieces of art.Texture wise, they nail it that perfect mix of delicate and chewy. You can tell they're using good stuff in there. If you're into macaroons, Kayla's cake is it.

This was quite a nice find! We were looking for a coffee place close to my client 's new property, and Kayla mentioned "Portuguese experience (we had a great time in Madeira in May).... and surprising to find an array of great pastries and awesome carrot cake in a jar. Loved the affogato macaroon (free after the check in), Iced mocha and that awesome scone! Service super sweet and attentive and store itself looks very tidy. We 'll be back!

The macarons were about $2.75 each and I got the caramel and the snickerdoodle. I loved the packaging it makes gifting super easy. Everyone really like the macarons and felt it was yummy. I would go back to try the cake. The cafe was super cute it's just a bit hidden as it's not on a Main Street and the area looks little sketch. However when you are in the parking it's great! Going back for sure! The servers were also very nice!

My personal experience was overall aceptable. The macaron was ordinary and quite a bit expensive. DO NOT ORDER the promotional tea they offer coz they don't have any taste at all and you have to wait until they steep the tea and then probably pour it on ice, it was tasteless, it doesn't worth like 6 bucks. We ordered the Oreo cake and it was OK, it looks nice but it didn't wao me, I think I had other places better and cheaper. The flavor is very subtle and not that soft or moist. If you want a fancy cake, you can give it a try, but I think I will stick with my regular WF cake.
