Cute little Korean coffee shop in dt Fullerton. Looks like a really nice place to hang out and get some work done. There's several parking lots nearby since the street is closed off. Service was good and pretty quick. Came here craving a really good matcha latte. I got the hojicha iced latte with oat milk because it had vanilla in it. I was a little disappointed/confused it didn't have a vibrant green color and the taste was just okay. I wish I had just gotten the original ceremonial matcha. I was really intrigued by their pastry selection, everything looked soo good especially the cinnamon bun. But I went with the almond danish which i completely devoured right after. It was super flaky and the almond filling was very yummy with the perfect amount of sweetness. I would def come back to try more of their pastries!
4.5/5 Love and appreciate the a variety of non coffee items on the menu! I came around 4pm on a Monday. There were several people quietly working on their laptops, and still open seating. It was pretty quiet, save the sound of the AC, considering how many people were there. Great study spot! Hojicha Latte $6 with no sugar aka vanilla sweetener : I'm a fan of strong tea, so I'm glad that the aftertaste of the latte was actually moderately strong of the tea aroma most cafes in OC just make tea lattes taste like milk. It was kind of grainy, but the tea aroma made up for it. Next time, I need to order it with less ice!The cashier was also so welcoming and warm hearted while taking the orders of my friend and I. : Def coming back to try the menu!
Cute coffee shop with unique selection of drinks. Truly a coffee lab with creative espresso, tea and specialty drinks that I haven't experienced anywhere else.Drinks:Jolly pong latte-I had no clue what Jolly pong was when I got this drink, but they described it like honey nut cheerios which I would say is a pretty good comparison, but not as sweet. I did wish the espresso was stronger and the drink overall sweeter. It was too milky and bland in my opinion. Tiger latte-I like the balance of the strong espresso taste with the perfect amount of sweetness and liked how it was served with Oat milk. I taste much better than the Jolly Pong latte. Smoking Spaniard -I didn't get this drink, but my friend did. She described it tasting like an horchata latte.Setting: great for a coffee date or a place to study. Chill with good vibes. Wasn't too busy when I came here on a Sat afternoon after brunch.Overall: I would definitely come here again and would like to try the other drinks on the menu.
I love Smoking Tiger and I would come here all the time to study, but they changed everything about it. Apparently the owner is different, and the coffee is worse. The aesthetic was really nice and it had a lot of Korean elements, but now all the packaging sucks and it has that ugly minimalist look of a generic coffee shop. And they got rid of all the original baristas which makes me sad.
