I visited Dozier's for the first time this year to pick up our Thanksgiving smoked turkey breast, and I was impressed. The restaurant was clean and had a very efficient operation. Despite the hustle and bustle of diners, shoppers, and people collecting their Thanksgiving orders, I was in and out in just five minutes. The smoked turkey was exceptional—moist, tender, and packed with delicious smoky flavor. The vacuum-packed packaging made it easy to store and prepare. All our guests praised how delicious it was. I will definitely return to dine in and explore more from the market. I only rated it four stars because I haven't experienced the restaurant dining yet.
That absolutely wasn't my reason for my complaint and obviously the picture isn't showing a true story of what was received. Obviously fat gives the flavor and while some fat is totally acceptable but all 2 lbs of pieces that had more fat than ACTUAL meat to enjoy is definitely not worth it. No place I've ever seen to has made me have to request for lean cut and I shouldn't have to, I should receive pieces with the proper fat portion on the meat so it tasty NOT mostly FAT is what I was referring to.
The BBQ brisket is incredibly tender, and I absolutely love the sauce. The service is fast, and the picnic-style booths and outdoor seating options are very comfortable.
Brutal lunch special chopped beef worst BBQ I ever had the place is super expensive too. I won't be stopping there again.
