L'osteria - Funchal

Service was excellent. eating is fresh and was cooked to perfection, with beautiful subtle aromas. it was a decent size served with potatoes and vegetables. if it is from the season it is not on the menu, in contrast to some other restaurants that have frozen ingredients. half a bottle Portuguese red went well with the chicken, and a free glass madeira wine with a fiber band lemon peel was served with the dessert. excellent eating at a reasonable price.

Really good restaurant with friendly, accomodating staff and tasty food, especially the fish. Prices are very reasonable. Fish of the day for one person and even lobster

We had an excellent dinner with our group of 6. service was attentive and outdoor food was very pleasant. the food was delicious, starting with whistle and tinted fish. the catch of the day and the seafood linguine were very good.

I think we are the people who recommended L'Osteria to nickt619! We are back in Madeira and happy to be able to visit L'Osteria again for excellent steaks, fish and seafood. Great food and friendly service as always. Highly recommended.
