Bagels Plus - Fuquay-Varina

There are so many choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We started our day with a couple of bagels for breakfast and picked up some pastries to go. They also have a great selection at the coffee bar. This place is a true gem in Fuquay, and we will definitely be coming back!

I paid $3 for a side of bacon and received two half-cooked, cold slices that I didn't eat. I also ordered a side of home fries with peppers and onions, but I only got about five small pieces of chopped onion and a single piece of pepper. I'm not usually one to complain, but I found this very disappointing.

I love coming here for the bagels, but I have to say: steer clear of the baked goods. I've wasted my money on several items like red velvet cake and crumb cake, and everything has been disappointingly dry. The coffee cake was hard and difficult to cut into, even after having it warmed up. As for the red velvet cake, it was practically held together by the frosting. When I tried to cut into it, the cake just crumbled into pieces— I'm not exaggerating. I was hoping for cream cheese frosting with the red velvet, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I guess I shouldn’t have assumed that everyone makes their red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.

Super delicious! 1st bagel is three cheese with jalapeño cream cheese, 2nd bagel is onion with chive cheese cheese. Really loved the pasta salad and the potato salad!

Great menu! They serve breakfast all day as well as burgers, sandwiches, pork chops, etc. And their desserts look wonderful... will try that next time. Fabulous bagels and freshly made cream cheese! A new favorite restaurant!
