The place is well presented, especially on a beautiful, sunny day. Staff large, menu is typical Blackforest tariff. All right elements. Eating on average. Something too fat. Didn't stop me enjoying me and maybe just been a bad day, but I don't think so. Come and enjoy the place, but make sure you order something inconvenient.

We booked 3 nights by phone. It is a family hotel/guest house found during a spontaneous search for vacation. Ms. Straub was very friendly, offered to reserve a family two-room apartment (as we have 4kids) without prepayment or credit card . The two rooms apartment was large and very comfortable with a clean shower and beautiful views of angled windows in the roof. Breakfast was great. We have our own table every day, the kids got their hot chocolate and we had our tea/coffee. A very generous buffet. Great start for day The hotel offers the red card for free attractions in the black forest that we really used and the kids loved it. We had dinner once, which was nice and very friendly for children. All in all we had a great time, thank you Straub Family!

What a lovely hotel,my wife and myself stayed here for 2 nights.the owner and staff was very friendly and helpful.the hotel is in fantastic countryside and the room was great.try and get a room with a balcony it is worth it
