Nice country-style diner without the cramped seating of some traditional diners made in the 50 's. I 'm in a power wheelchair, and although there were a few obstacles (chairs and barrel on the ramp), I managed. The food and service were excellent; I ordered a meat-lover 's omelet that was really stuffed with goodness. They easily did my special no-carb request (no potatoes or toast). Very friendly, a lot of regular local customers which I like to see. Only slight negative for me was that the bathroom would not allow my wheelchair in, but I parked it and hobbled in. It was spotless. This place has a special relationship with a local Big Foot legend, hence the image outside! Maybe Big Foot was seen eating an apple... that would explain the name on a restaurant closer to Canada than New York City! But I enjoyed it and will be back.
Pleasant mom and pop shop, great for a casual brunch or lunch. Try the breakfast quesadilla.
One of our favorite spots to stop on the way back from. Lake George! Great people, great food and the PIE!! It's too bad they are only open until 2, but if you are in time, well worth it!
Got stuck sleeping a few hours in my car at the end of the lot over night. Decided to wait around for them to open, nobody bothered me. Warm welcome, polite and fast service. Stepped out for a smoke after ordering, went back in to hot food ready for me to eat. Food was amazing, left stuffed with some leftovers, and I eat a lot. All for $14 bucks. Easily could or been satisfied for much less. A shame to see it so slow, I will most definitely save this location for the future. Thank you
