You could actually see where they just sliced the tender right in half. I also ordered sweet potato fries . I was served diced up sweet potatoes. The best part of the food was the side salad. Unfortunately not impressed with the food. Service was great!
We’ve been working in the Bowling Green area for a few weeks now and enjoyed Pub Novo a few times so figured we would give Novo 2.0 or Novo Dulce a try. The charcuterie board (Novo board) was not impressive. Extra bread (which is a necessity) was an upcharge. The meats and cheese spreads were also disappointing. Our dinners were quite lackluster. My coworkers pasta dish required a fair amount of salt along with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes to try and save it … all to no avail. The Cajun pasta (voodoo, I believe) was also underwhelming. We decided we won’t be coming back again and will instead continue to try some other places in the area. Oh one more thing… service was alright but our waiter was a bit snarky at times and wasn’t very pleasant.
Had lunch in this place while my family and I were visiting the town, friendly staff and amazing food!
Second time coming here. First time was a work lunch and had their burger. Could not say I was impressed with the burger. However, second time I came with my wife for date night and I had the shrimp and grits. That was one of the most delicious dishes I have ever eaten. I have always hated grits until now, but their grit cake has changed my opinion on grits. The shrimp were big, only complaint with the shrimp was that the tails were still on, but I just pulled them off. The sauce was what blew my mind. It could easily compete with sauces I’ve had when I’ve been to New Orleans. My wife ordered the dolce pizza and that was really good as well. I dipped a piece of her crust in the sauce and it was delish. Overall I’m definitely coming back, the shrimp and grits is easily in my top 15 dishes I’ve eaten.
One of my favorite places to eat. Try the shrimp and grits, it's almost a religious experience.
