I have eaten at Penn Station in several different cities…this one misses the mark. The service was unfriendly, tables were dirty, and we were missing some meat on our sandwich (see photos). One large sandwich, fries and a drink…$23. The price does not coincide with the product and service. When the food was brought out, the employee threw the basket on our table as they walked by…never even glancing at us or confirming our food no ‘enjoy your meal’ nothing. I’m disappointed. To be fair, one employee of the three was actually nice/friendly. Due to the location, parking was difficult. The floors were sticky and some of the bathroom stalls were out of order.
Great bread, fresh toppings made for a quite enjoyable sandwich. The corned beef is good, but wish they also had roast beef.
Ate here for 1st time with my son. Sandwich was great but what I loved the most were the fries! They are truly homemade fries as in they slice the potatoes themselves and fry them up. So freaking good! Can't believe I been missing out on this!
Even though it was close to closing time, workers were preparing to head home and I needed dinner for my family and children. These folks rushed food together, cheese not melted on sandwiches, seemed like nothing was cooked and we weren’t rushing at all. I understand wanting to go home and all but I worked that day as well even if it is around a Holiday, other people are working just like the workers there and the food they prepared was just disappointing. Bowling green Kentucky doesn’t have many places to eat as it is, I rather this place be shut down then to continue spending crazy amounts of money on trash food.
