It was soggy. Wanted to order more but the waitress was too busy gossiping about some lady stalking her and was on her phone a lot. Took 20 mins just to get a refill and we got attitude for asking for that. So we called it a night. This place has been around for years. Used to be better. It really wasn’t busy but the waitress wasn’t the friendliest. Maybe better staff would help.
Came to check this place out after seeing it go viral on social media. Being from the southwest, I’m picky about my Mexican food so I had my expectations set lower than the age of the owner’s girlfriend. The service was average and the food tasted like paint oddly enough. Maybe our server had some paint transfer from her hands when our plates were dropped off. I’d stay away from this place. Taco Bell is probably more authentic. And ethical.
All around poor experience also it was odd to see that amount of grooming going on with young waitresses and adult employees
Worst, absolutely disgusting. Much better places to go that are family friendly.
I have been going here since 2005. The Chiles rellenos are the best I have ever had. My son loves the guacamole here becuz he hates tomatoes . They don’t put any in theirs. The rice and beans are as good as my mamas. Enchiladas suizas second favorite. The service is good solid. The owners talk to you. My husband loves the flaming fajitas. We are both Mexican and have lived in Mexico. This style of food is from Puebla so it has its own variation or style. We like it so much we come from downriver about once a month. It’s a 45 minute drive but we love it.
