C J’s Crab Shack - Gadsden

We had the best lunch here. we spent about 3 hours eating at c j’s. we had a few snow-creb-wine, fried garnelen appetizer, and the rubber bear. the rubber train was definitiw a highlight, it was so good that we also ordered some to take with us when we left. our server was great, her name was cassady and she made us very welcome. they have a wonderful drink menu, my favourite was the alabama summer! would recommend this place if they are ever in the city!

Best seafood ive had the summer! very prepared, tasting and pricing. came for an early birthday party with my wife and my parents. the first time, but it won't be my last! the service was quite good, but the food! and they have gathered in proportions! everyone had to go to the plate. I really loved it. I have to visit her other location. highly recommended

Fantastic restaurant! The food was incredible, the staff was friendly, and you can enjoy sitting on the terrace with beautiful views of the river. I highly recommend it!

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! It was our first visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the Dungeness steampot and the rubber pot, and both were fantastic. The crab legs were the best we've had in North Alabama! Highly recommend!

On August 31, 2022, we celebrated our anniversary and decided to try a new restaurant. Since Gadsden is just a 30-minute drive from our home, I explored some dining options and settled on C&J's, as we both love seafood—especially crab legs. We arrived around 4:30 PM (don’t judge us; we’re getting older) and were promptly seated. Our server, Heather, was fantastic! The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. We specifically came for the $5 crab leg clusters, and they did not disappoint. The Cajun-style butter served with them was incredible! The hush puppies were hot and crispy, and the corn was sweet and juicy. We will definitely return! Thank you for making our anniversary dinner so memorable!
