Man! They are friendly, but the take out I got was really bad.

A typical family run Japanese restaurant. If you are familiar with Japanese restaurants you will feel right at home here. To my knowledge Shige is the only authentic Japanese restaurant in Halifax.

Fabulous, fresh, and delicious hands down the best sushi in Halifax, and among the best I 've had across Canada. A tiny restaurant, it is best for take out (or delivery), but oh so good, right down to fresh, home made chopped wasabi. Forget the 'AYCE ' sushi joints this is the real deal.
