Caribbean Queen - Gainesville

The restaurant could use some improvements. I noticed that a staff member was complaining to another customer about various issues, which was quite unprofessional. The customer service left much to be desired. The veggie pattie wasn’t great either. I don't think I would return.

The food was quite enjoyable; the oxtails were tender and had an authentic flavor, just as they should. The owner seemed a bit frustrated with me for not specifying the portion size I wanted, but she’s not rude—she's Jamaican and an elder. She’s been in this business for quite some time. I’ll definitely be returning!

We showed up they didn't seem to want our business. It was sad because we were really looking forward to some Caribbean food and possibly finding a new place to get it.

The curry goat was tender and delicious. This place is run by a single woman, and she does an amazing job; you can really taste the love in her cooking. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will definitely be returning.

Haven't ate yet but from the view seems very cultural.
