La Tienda Latina - Gainesville

The Mexican food at this restaurant is amazing and incredibly affordable! It was highly recommended to us and it definitely lived up to the hype. All four of us ordered different dishes and we all enjoyed our meals. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious, and the queso dip was one of the best I've ever had. I can't wait to return!

Just love this place. Been here a number of times and had a wonderful experience every time. 3 tacos for $6 is the best deal for me(beats any Taco Tuesday deal IMO) but their meals are excellent as well. Have tried a few of them and each had a unique flavor of its own!

This Mexican restaurant is very authentic! I first discovered it a few years ago during a lunch break at a meeting, where I was introduced to delicious and genuine Mexican cuisine. If you're looking for a fancy atmosphere with a live mariachi band and elegant table settings, this isn't the place for you. The service can be slow during busy times, but that's to be expected at any restaurant. If you're ordering a vegan meal, be prepared for an even longer wait. LaTienda is known for their quality and generous portions. Whenever someone visits me and wants Mexican food, this is always my top choice. Most other restaurants in Swampville are watered down due to the smaller population, making La friends stand out as a truly authentic option with no false pretenses.
