Sumo Hibachi And Wings - Gainesville

This is one of my favorite spots for fast hibachi-style food. The place is clean, and the staff is friendly. The service is quick, and the food is fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant and have encouraged everyone to give it a try. The salmon and chicken hibachi meal is fantastic. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5/5.

The food was disappointing. The rice and wings were overcooked and not enjoyable. Additionally, the restroom was quite dirty. As I walked in, the staff member at the entrance was unfriendly and disrespectful.

The hibachi food is served quickly, and the prices are fantastic for the amount of food provided. My salmon was a generous portion! I really enjoyed the peach drink and the fried rice as well.

I know this is a bold claim, but this is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in all of Gainesville. The hibachi is both authentic and delicious. I tend to order the same dish every time—the chicken hibachi with fried rice and broccoli—and it never lets me down. This place truly embodies the saying, "don't judge a book by its cover." I would rate it a perfect 10/10, and the owner, JP, is the kindest and most considerate person you'll ever meet. If you're thinking about trying this place, just go! Don’t wait.
