Volcanic Sushi Sake Hunter's Crossing

The sashimi here is incredibly fresh and delicious! This is my quick way of determining whether a sushi restaurant is worth visiting.

I wish I knew the name of the waiters, he was so pleasant. Kindly and often checked for us, but was not annoying about it. Very soft and thoughtful. My daughter and I had a nice dinner and will definitely be back.

My 85-year-old mother for dinner. She had sweet sour tilapia and I had Sashimi with Haile roll and sorted other goodies. It was fabulous. The only place to eat in Gainesville.

Although I was frustrated with the long wait for my pickup, I could also see that other customers who were dining in were equally annoyed as they were asked to wait before being seated while online orders were prioritized. I understand that everyone is adjusting to the increase in online pickups and takeout orders, but unfortunately, the customer service seems to be suffering because of it. The staff apologized for the delays and somewhat casually offered a credit for my next visit, but by that point, I just wanted to leave and enjoy my meal.

The food is delicious and the service amazing. Second time that I went and they gave me extra sushi to eat there. The Gyoza is the best I ever eat!
