Madras Palace - Gaithersburg

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! Despite living a bit far away, it's definitely worth the trip to enjoy the amazing variety of vegan and vegetarian options. Unlike some buffets where food can sit out for too long, everything here was fresh and delicious even towards the end of the lunch service. There are so many dishes to choose from, all cooked with just the right amount of oil - enough for flavor but not too heavy. The staff are all friendly and helpful, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. A pure delight!

The Madras spring dosa was very flavorful and highly recommended. The chana masala, which is normally my favorite Indian dish, was a bit bland for my taste. The vegetable cutlet had an unusual taste that I didn't enjoy, but the outside was cooked nicely. The Manchurian dish was delicious, even though it is a fusion with Chinese cuisine, and I would recommend it. The poori was soft and fluffy, best enjoyed while still hot. Although the fresh lime juice was a bit pricey, it was actually very good.
