California Pizza Kitchen Gaithersburg Priority Seating

We had a same-day reservation for 6:45 PM, and our party was seated right on time at our table on the terrace. We had a lovely time dining while enjoying the fresh air.

I really wish they had lunch specials with smaller portion sizes available throughout the week. The pizzas are too large for a single person to handle. It's quite challenging to find anything under 500 calories—almost impossible, in fact. After my trip to Japan, I find myself longing for American restaurants where I can enjoy a proper portion, rather than meals meant for two or more people. It's no wonder obesity is such an issue in America.

The service was simply ok. had to be ordered after beverage refills, check, etc. and order was not correct. very loud atmosphere not “live” simply loud. Eating was good, but nothing star.

The staff were friendly and seated us well. Our server was kind and attentive. The food was delicious, particularly the spicy buffalo cauliflower, which was outstanding!

Their Opentable was not working which caused issues. Server mixed up order. We have been before and had much better experiences.
