Gardenia's Cafe - Gaithersburg

Man this place was amazing!!! A friend of mine told me about it and I wanted to try something new. I ordered the steak and cheese yucca and I have to say, it was bussin!!! Josh made sure I was good and made me feel very welcomed as customer! I will definitely be returning to try their other dishes!!

The food is simply amazing here! Everything is home made and organic and it taste perfect!!The staff is super welcoming and happy to see us every time ! They are very friendlyI would choose this place over and over again! Trying their food is a must!!!

This was my 4th visit to this lovely little family owned cafe, I just stumbled upon recently. First of all, the hospitality is warm and inviting to everyone that walks in the door, by the entire family that owns the place. It is so nice to be always be greeted with a genuine smile, hello and how have you been lately? The treat everyone like they know you. This is rarely seen these days. LOVE IT! I also enjoy supporting small businesses! The decor is simple, nicely appointed, with fresh flowers on the table, and they are meticulous about cleanliness, which says a lot right from the start. The cafe is a very small place with just a handful of tables, and the service is top notch! Everyone who works there are family members. The menu has a nice variety of items for breakfast, lunch and early dinner. They are opened most days 9am-until 5 or 6pm, closed Tuesdays. The father and son, in the family make some of the most delicious authentic El Salvordorian menu items every day, like pasteles from their wife/mother's recipes. They also have burgers, sandwiches, full meals with meat and 2 sides, they sell loaves of fresh baked bread. My favorite is the chicken taco salad. The food is all organic. They even make a nice variety of homemade desserts that are only lightly sweetened, and they serve every one clean alkaline water for each table. The organic fruit juices are amazing and refreshing! I love the mango one, yum! I look forward to trying some of the other items on the menu my next visit. I highly recommend giving this mom and pop establishment a try!

Gardenia's has THE BEST FOOD in the state of Maryland. I kid you not, this is the most enjoyable eating experience not only in town but in state. I have been to Gardenia's 6 times now, ordered something different each time, and each time I have left feeling more satisfied than the last. Morning date with your significant other, post gym with your friends, alone for a solo mission, Gardenia's cafe is UNBEATABLE. Genesis (and the whole Gardenia family) is incredibly sweet and expresses genuine care for every individual who enters the cafe. I workout at CrossFit Enforce which is a stone's throw from Gardenia's Cafe, it is my favorite post-workout meal. Not only is the food (and drink, and dessert) incredible, the environment and ambiance are very pleasant, inviting, and enjoyable.Eating at Gardenia's will be your best decision all week if not all month.
