We visited on a Friday night and were lucky to snag a room for two hours since we arrived at 6:00 PM; it would have been much harder to get a room later. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. On busy nights, you can't sing on the main floor unless you have a room, so without one, you’ll just be hanging out at the bar (which is okay if singing isn’t your top priority). The staff was incredibly friendly, especially since we arrived early; this meant we received more attention, and we even got some free recordings for the birthday girl! They also gave us a tour of the different rooms, and there’s a huge room that can accommodate at least 30 people if you ever want to host a wild event. Overall, we had a fantastic time, but the lack of a clear reservation system can be a bit challenging. Additionally, the song selection on the machine itself is limited, so we often had to turn to YouTube for other options (like Disney songs). However, these are minor details in an otherwise great experience. If you're looking for a fun night out without having to trek into DC for a big karaoke scene or compete for the microphone, this is the perfect spot to introduce yourself to karaoke!
I reserved a private room for my friend's birthday for the first time. The room was designed for 9 people, but we ended up having about 15-20 guests throughout the night (not all at once, thankfully!). It was quite amusing. We ordered drinks at the bar, which was pretty busy. There was a button to summon someone to take our orders, but we didn't end up using it. The drink menu was reasonable, and we didn’t order any food. They brought birthday cakes, which was a lovely touch. We stayed for about four hours. The bill for the room was calculated almost to the minute, which was funny. It did get warm in the room with so many people, though. We even had to change the microphone battery. Overall, my friend had a fantastic birthday and was extremely happy. We all had a wonderful time!
When you walk in, it looks like a typical sports bar, and surprisingly, it was pretty quiet for a Sunday night! There are several rooms available for private karaoke sessions, but personally, I feel like it’s something you can do at home (well, except for the bottle service, of course!). I usually prefer the public karaoke vibe, where you don’t know who your audience will be or how they will react, plus having a DJ to manage song requests. However, this place was a bit different. My sister and I sat at the bar, where several microphones were set up for anyone eager to sing. Next to the bar, there was a touchscreen that gave us full control over the music selection. When we arrived, we enjoyed an awesome Afrobeats mix game, and we also had the freedom to pick our own songs via YouTube and perform them. It was such a DIY karaoke experience, which I’m not used to! While we were there, my sister munched on edamame, and I tried the tteokbokki. The rice cakes were a bit chewier than I prefer, but overall, they were delicious! I had a fantastic time singing along as well. As more people joined in, the atmosphere became even more fun. I’m still laughing about the guy who sang “Let It Go” from Frozen! I will definitely return, and I’m also curious to check out the billiards spot next door!
A little expensive though the place is a small bar, but I guess the experience was worth it. I recommend going, but a big group so the wallet doesn't hurt. I didn't try the food because it was very expensive.
Super fun and not very expensive. We will def go again, but this time with more people.
