Red Lobster Gaithersburg

I was warned about their food but we were taking my sons girlfriend out for her birthday. And that was where is she wanted to go. The food is too salty and I’ve never seen a scallop that was the size of an eraser in the pencil. The lobster was so small I’m sure it was a lagustino. Service was great, though!

We went on a Saturday night about pm, and the restaurant was extremely busy with many groups waiting. Having made a waitlist reservation on open table earlier in the day, we were seated within minutes of arriving (highly recommend the call ahead feature). Despite the crowd, we were easily able to converse noise level was quite low. Food was reasonably priced, and the tilapia with lobster very good. My husband's shrimp and steak was also delicious. Service was excellent and the glass of wine ordered came in either or oz size which is quite generous. Only complaint is about the dessert we only tried the key lime pie, but for the tiny serving size the dessert price was way too high. Overall, it was a good night.

Good value for food. Quantities are generous one order is typically good to take home for a second meal.

The food was cold, like it had been sitting a while before being brought out.
