Kitty Knight - GALENA

Just returned from a weekend trip at Kitty Knight and found the entire stay excellent! My wife and I were part of a group of eight friends who had gathered to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The Inn has so much history and the improvements recently made in and out are great. We were in room #1, over the river and it could not have been more beautiful. We had several meals on the deck and in the dinning room. Our group was very impressed by service and atmosphere. On Saturday afternoon we had appetizers and drinks outside on the deck as we were entertained by live music. The weather was excellent and it was great to enjoy the boats and the river. Our group had dinner on the side deck at Deep Blue, and again the food and service found to top notch. After dinner we moved into a smaller room from the dinning room, where our group relax and enjoy some drinks. Chris the GM, stopped by on several occasions to see if we needed something with our meals or accommodation. I would strongly recommend both the Inn and restaurant for people looking for a short holiday without driving hours in traffic. Thanks again to the entire staff Jim McBride

Beautiful place and the Restaurant food was awesome. Only complaint is there was no front desk person. You pick up your key in a mailbox. Noone to ask any questions about anything.

Food drinks were good. Service was great. Deck view was gorgeous. We were disappointed there was an annoying barking dog at the table next to us half the time we were eating dinner. I?m a dog lover, but this dog was not well trained. The dog came over to our table sniffed my husband?s plate 3x! I thought for sure it was going to yank the steak right off his plate! the owner never apologized or anything. Dog didn?t seem to obey simple commands either. So rude. There was another dog across from us, at another table, who didn?t make a sound. Maybe enforce a ?no pet? policy at restaurants??? It definitely was not what we drove all the way out there to experience. Again, the food service was good.

Just spent my birthday dinner with my family at Deep Blue Kitty Knight house. We were all quite disappointed. Everyone got a variety of dishes from seafood to a brisket sandwich and everyone's consensus was the same, the food was not good at all very bland. We had dinner inside and then a couple drinks out on the deck listening to the band playing. The atmosphere is perfect. Beautiful view for sure. The bartenders outside were rude and the drinks weren't very good. My family are all very easy to please, never have much to complain about but it was not the best experience.

This inn is wonderful. Very clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We had room #1 with a deck overlooking the marina. Beautiful. The dinner menu was limited but the fish was very good. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back!!
