Broadview Lounge - Galesburg

This place is good. My mom takes me here all the time. I love the Mickey mouse pancakes. I also love the toy machine. I also like the waitresses. They keep my drink filled.

It had been quite some time since I'd been there. I had the Broadview omelette with American fries with sausage gravy over them. My girlfriend had the breakfast special, everything was prepared nicely. The food was served hot and delicious, the service excellent. I didn't try the buffet but I know in the past it had a nice variety of food. All in all a very good experience and I will be returning in the future.

The food was good the price was right. The kitchen was having some issues, I think. My aunt got her breakfast (eggs, hashbrowns, bacon) but not her toast. I got my pancakes, but not my breakfast. My breakfast her toast came out much later, but she was given white instead of the rye she ordered. Still, the food service were good enough that I plan to give it another try.

Good homemade food. Great variety. Salad bar comes with your meal and includes soup. Coffee is really great and that's hard to find. Coffee, tea, and soft drinks are free refills. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are from the 80s it's really a great place to eat. It also has a hotel I have not stayed there they were booked the last time I tried to get a reservation.

Great discovery, great breakfast buffet before catching the train at an early Sunday morning! The waitress was great, friendly and she went out of her way to serve us... the other girls were home friendly, definitely thumbs from our Chicago bound group...
