Pz's Place Steakhouse - Galesburg

I had the Chicken Special on Tuesday night. It was great. I love the salad bar. Not a huge selection of things you put on your salad, but enough. Everything was fresh and tasteful. 5 stars on special! Value and quality is unmatched! The waitress worked hard and we are very friendly. This comes from people who care about their jobs. You can sit at the bar or at tables. This is not a 'clothes on place, but from my first visit I would have to say it's a damn good place to get a good meal. Thank you.

The restaurant was found when looking for a local restaurant near the hotel. We prefer local ownership and previous reviews had added the stop. Pz's didn't disappoint! If we ever find ourselves in this way, we will make the time to stop. We moved in and the parking lot was full, and the smell came out of the kitchen... We started to drool and knew that we made the right decision It was very busy. Recommended if you can, call ahead / reservation. We didn't get lucky when a table didn't show up. Our waitress was FANTASTIC! Everyone seemed really fun to work there. You have a fully equipped bar and the drinks are good, but I didn't drink. We loved the Chicken Alfredo (all from scratches), Prime Rib (melt like butter in my mouth), and the children share a Wels fillet and roasted shrimp all delicious!!! Prices very fair for the quality of food. If you can stop and enjoy!!!

Family meetings met here. Steaks were boiled exactly and beautifully dimensioned. We had a super waitress, very attentive and friendly. Salad bar was not big, but very fresh and tasty. Definitely plan to go back.

I've been coming here since last autumn, picking me up and eating at home. The owner/manager? It's always very sweet and thorough. Today she helped me get my guts into the car. Although this place can look somewhat rough from outside, like a sports bar or something, try it. The food is consistently good and the service is also. I want to sit down and actually eat here sometime, but I will probably make a reservation as its always full!!!! This restaurant is easy to miss on Grand Avenue, but I think his hidden jewel of Galesburg.

Came by for lunch while in the area for work. Will definitely be back. The shaved prime rib could have easily cost double what it did. Food was great and was a great price. Highly recommend stopping in.
